Box Score St. Paul, Minn.  – The Vikings women's soccer team (0-4, 0-1) lost their UMAC opener on the road to Northwestern (1-4, 1-0) by a score of 5-0.
 
The Eagles put a lot of pressure on the Viking defense as they tallied 26 shots total with 18 on goal. Vikings goalkeeper Averi Cash made 13 saves on the night. The Vikings had a total of three shots with two on goal in the game.  
 
Up Next: The Vikings play their next game at home on Saturday, September 16 against conference opponent St. Scholastica. The women play second in the double-header at 4:15 PM, following the men who will begin their game at 2 PM.
