St. Paul, MN. – The Bethany Lutheran College Vikings Men's soccer team tied 1-1 with the University of Northwestern Eagle. The tie marks the second tie in the Viking's season, and moves their record to 5-4-2.
The Eagles were on the board first and quick when they scored a goal in the 17th minute. The game went back and forth with neither team scoring through the end of the first period. Then, just a minute into the second period, Bethany's Jonathan Sehloff scored a goal in the 46th minute. The game went into two overtime periods, and ended with the two teams tieing 1-1.
The Vikings were led by Jonathan Sehloff with 4 shots, 1 shot on goal, and 1 goal.
