LAKEVILLE, Minn. – The BLC men's tennis team (7-9, 3-1) made quick work of the MN-Morris Cougars (1-5, 0-4) on Wednesday evening. The Vikings cruised to a 9-0 victory over the Cougars at Lifetime Fitness in Lakeville.
The Vikings won all three doubles matches by scores of 8-1. Laine Larson and Dalton Werckman worked together at #1 doubles for their third win of the conference season. Carter Dahl and Dexter Jackson stayed undefeated together at #2 doubles in UMAC play while Jordan Poff and Kenny Johnson picked up their third UMAC win at #3 doubles.
At #1 singles, Laine Larson won 6-1, 6-1. Dalton Werckman won 6-1, 6-1 at #2 singles and Carter Dahl won 6-0, 6-1 at #3. Dexter Jackson and Jordan Poff only surrendered one game apiece at #4 and #5 respectively and Kenny Johnson won 6-1, 6-1 at #6.
Up Next: The Vikings will hit the court again in Lakeville on Saturday, April 21 at 7 PM. BLC will play MLC in UMAC competition.
