St. Paul, Minn.  – The Bethany men's soccer team's record moves to 1-2 after losing to Bethel University Royals 0-1.

The Vikings played aggressive all game; recording 8 fouls, 5 corner kicks, and 8 shots. Bethel had 12 shots and 4 on goal compared to the Vikings 8 shots and 3 on goal. The game was tied until Bethel scored a goal in the 51st minute.

 The Vikings were lead by Samuel Duran with 2 shots and Nikita Pyatetskiy with 2 shots and 1 shots on goal.

 Up next: The Vikings host their first home game of the season against the Rockford University Regents on Saturday, September 9th at 1:00 P.M.
