Minneapolis, MN.  –  The Vikings men's basketball team beat the North Central University Rams 99-72. The win puts the Vikings UMAC record at 7-1.
The Vikings found success to start the first half, going on a 19-11 run through the first 10 minutes. Bethany would not be able to be stopped through the back half of the first half, going on a huge 27-13 run to give the Vikings a 46-24 halftime lead. Trenton Krueger would step up big in the first half, recording a team high in both points and rebounds, with 17 and 4 respectively.
The second half would hold much of the same. The Vikings would be able to maintain their 22 point lead through most of the game, going on a small run at the end to extend their lead to a game high 27, winning 99-72. In this half, Blake Lindstrom would record 10 points, and Cire Mayfield would have 9.
The Vikings got great production from their bench tonight. Blake Lindstrom led all scorers with 19 points. Trevin Nelson scored 15 points on 5-7 shooting from deep and Daniel Gutzmer scored 12 points.
