Perry Ties Single Game Record Again in Win Over North Central

Box Score MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.—Junior Maddie Perry (Anoka, Minn.) tied the Bethany Lutheran women's soccer single game record in goals and points Wednesday in the 4-1 win over North Central. She had four goals for eight points for the second time in her career, as she first accomplished this feat this past Saturday, against Northland.

This also marked the 19th-straight win for BLC in the series.

Perry also owns the single season record in game-winning goals with seven to date, and continues to extend her lead as the career leader in this category.

Perry put the Vikings on the scoreboard with her first goal at 13:32. She connected on a pass from classmate Mindy Pitzner (Jefferson, Wis.) at 29:23 to double the lead.

This remained the score through halftime. Perry tallied her last two within two minutes of each other.

Sophomore Zoe Kinakin (Victoria, British Columbia) played in the net and made three saves to earn the win.
