MORRIS, Minn.—The Bethany Lutheran women's soccer team (6-5 overall, 2-0 UMAC) tallied two goals in the second half for the comeback win over Minnesota-Morris (2-5, 0-2) Saturday.
The Cougars were the first team on the scoreboard with their successful penalty kick at 28:51.
This remained the score through halftime. Junior Maddie Perry (Anoka, Minn.) had an unassisted goal at 62:15 to even the game and scored the game-winner just four minutes later on a pass from senior Haley Sisson (Minneapolis).
Perry has now tied BLC's career record and single season mark in game-winning goals.
