Vikings Silence Knights

MANKATO, Minn.—The Bethany Lutheran men's soccer team (9-3 overall, 2-1 UMAC) shutout Martin Luther (3-8-2, 1-2) 7-0 Wednesday in the inaugural game on the new turf field.

Freshman Chris Quintero (Quincy, Wash.) scored the first goal in the new facility just over four minutes into the contest. Classmate Max Busch (Odenthal, Germany) continued his record-setting season as he led the team with three goals.

BLC led 2-0 at halftime and added five more in the second half.

Senior Moritz Bruns (Leer, Germany) earned his third shutout of the season in goal.
