Vikings Host Knights to Continue Five-Game Homestand

MANKATO, Minn.-- The Bethany Lutheran women's basketball team (1-0 overall) continues its five-game homestand Wednesday when it hosts Carleton (1-0) at 7 p.m.

The Series
Carleton owns the slight lead in the all-time series at 3-2, though the Vikings have claimed the last two meetings.

Bethany Lutheran
Through the first game, three players average in double digits. Junior Hanna Geistfeld (Truman) has 23.0 PPG, classmate Abby Olson (Montevideo) has 20.0 and freshman Skylar Cotten (Grand Meadow, Minn.) has 10.0. Olson leads the team with 10.0 rebounds/game.

Career Record Watch
Olson ranks eighth in points (820) and in assists (180). Geistfeld is ninth in field goals (300) and junior Kenlie Pytleski (East Chain, Minn.) is ninth in blocks (39).

Carleton
Through the first game, three Knights also average in double figures. Jill Yanai has 19.0 PPG, Samantha Cooke is a 14.0 and Katie Chavez has 12.0. Yanai also has a team-high 7.0 rebounds/game.
