Women's Basketball Concludes Homestand Against Central

MANKATO, Minn.-- The Bethany Lutheran women's basketball team (4-0 overall) concludes its five-game homestand when it hosts Central (3-1) Friday at 6:30 p.m.

The Series
The Dutch own the series lead at 6-4 and the teams have met annually since the 2012-13 season.

Bethany Lutheran
Junior Abby Olson (Montevideo, Minn.) leads the team with 22.5 PPG, classmate Hanna Geistfeld (Truman, Minn.) has 20.5 PPG, and junior Kenlie Pytleski (East Chain, Minn.) has 13.8 PPG. Geistfeld averages a double double with a team-high 10.0 rebounds/game and Olson has a team-best 20 assists.

Career Record Watch
Olson ranks second in three-point field goals (113), sixth in points (910) seventh in assists (197), and 10th in free throws (197) and field goals (296) . Geistfeld is sixth in field goals (324)  and ninth in points (827). Pytleski is ninth in blocks (39). Senior Emily Skrien (Nicollet, Minn.) is ninth in three-point field goals (67).

The Vikings are first in won-lost percentage (1.000), 23rd in free throw percentage (78.5), 24th in three-point field goals (31), 31st in three-point field goal percentage (40.8), 34th in assists/game (18.7), 42nd in assists (56), 59th in scoring offense (78.0 PPG), 68th in rebounds/game (46.00), 72nd in free throws (51), 75th in scoring margin (16.3), 79th in assist turnover ratio (1.02), 80th in rebound margin (8.7), 93rd in points (234), and 98th in field goal percentage (42.5).

Individually, Olson is 34th in three-pointers (10), 53rd in three-point field goals/game (3.33), 55th in free throws (17) and points/game (21.0), 64th in assists (14), 79th in points (63), 86th in assists/game (4.7)

Central
Kendall Brown leads her team with 14.3 PPG. Three teammates join her in double figures as Maci Gambell has 13.5 PPG, Kelsea Hurley is at 13.3 and Carson Fisk has 10.5. Gambell leads the team on the glass with 8.5 rebounds/game.
