MANKATO, Minn.—The Bethany Lutheran women's basketball team fell to NCAA Division II opponent, Minnesota State University Mankato, 100-63 in an exhibition game Monday night.

A trio of Vikings players finished in double digits as junior Hanna Geistfeld (Truman, Minn.) led the way with 15 points. Classmate Kenlie Pytleski (East Chain, Minn.) and freshman Skylar Cotten (Grand Meadow, Minn.) followed with 14 and 12, respectively.
Geistfeld nearly had a double double with her team-best nine rebounds on the night.
The first quarter remained close until the Mavericks made a basket with two seconds left to take a 10-point lead (25-15). MSUM continued to lead by double digits for the duration of the contest.
BLC is off from competition until next Wednesday, Dec. 4 on the road against Martin Luther at 7:15 p.m. to open Upper Midwest Athletic Conference play.
