NEW ULM, Minn.—The Bethany Lutheran women's soccer season came to an end Monday in the 2-1 loss in overtime in the quarterfinal of the UMAC Tournament to Martin Luther. The Vikings end the season 8-10.
The game was scoreless through halftime. Junior Maddie Perry (Anoka, Minn.) gave BLC the 1-0 lead with her record-setting 21
st goal of the season at 63:04.
An own goal knotted the score at one all with under seven minutes to play in regulation. Neither team attempted a shot over the duration to send the game into overtime.
The Knights scored the game-winner off of a corner kick at 97:28 to earn the win and advance in the conference tournament.
