Men's Basketball Travels to Face UW-Superior

MANKATO, Minn.--  The Bethany Lutheran men's basketball team (5-3 overall, 2-0 UMAC) travels to face UW-Superior (5-4, 3-0) Saturday at 3 p.m. The Yellowjackets and Vikings are tied for first in the conference standings. UWS enters the weekend on a three-game winning streak.

The Series
The Vikings lead the all-time series 6-2 and have won the last three-straight.

Bethany Lutheran
Senior Trenton Krueger (Eagan, Minn.) leads the team with 17.0 PPG. Three teammates join him in double digits as sophomore Cire Mayfield (St. Louis Park, Minn.) has 16.0 PPG, junior Brian Smith (Brooklyn Park, Minn.) averages 13.8 PPG and classmate Jared Milinkovich (New Prague, Minn.) has 13.4.

Krueger nearly averages a double double with his team-best 9.5 rebounds/game. Mayfield has a team-high 54 assists and Smith leads the way with 15 steals.

Career Record Watch
Krueger is first in blocks (64), fifth in rebounds (444), and 10th in field goals (340). Milinkovich is fifth in blocks (46).

BLC leads the league in scoring (92.5 PPG) and free throw percentage (.759).

Krueger is the fifth-leading scorer (20.5 PPG) and third-leading rebounder (10.0 rebounds/game). He also ranks second in field goal percentage (.696).

The 'Jackets have three players in double figures: Vid Milenkovic is at 16.0 PPG, Mac Reykdal has 13.0 and Allen Anderson has 12.2. Milenkovic leads the team on the glass with 8.8 rebounds/game.
