Vikings Extend Winning Streak in Shutout of Crown

ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn.—The Bethany Lutheran men's soccer team (7-2 overall, 1-0 UMAC) extended its winning streak to six in the 4-0 shutout over Crown (2-7, 0-1) Saturday in the UMAC opener. The sixth-straight victory stands as the longest winning streak in school history.

All four goals were scored by freshmen. Marcel Campabadal (Vilassar de Mar, Catalonia, Spain) netted the first two consecutive goals, to set a new career high in goals and points to lead the Vikings. Max Busch (Odenthal, Germany) scored his single season tying 11th goal of the year to give BLC the 3-0 lead.

Bethany took the 3-0 lead into halftime and Luke Ossterbosch (Veldhoven, The Netherlands) recorded the final goal at 62:59.
