MANKATO, Minn. – Sophomore Laura Ellinghuysen (Winona, Minn.) had a career-high 18 points in Bethany Lutheran's (12-2 overall, 5-1 UMAC) 90-58 win over North Central (6-8, 3-3) Wednesday night.
The Vikings moved their season winning streak to seven, and have won all 18 contests against the Rams in the all-time series.
BLC opened the game on an 8-1 run over the first two minutes and never looked back. Bethany later led 42-27 at halftime as junior Kenlie Pytleski (East Chain, Minn.) had 15 points and classmate Abby Olson (Montevideo, Minn.) had 13 in the first two quarters alone.
Olson finished the night with 24 points, which included a perfect seven-for-seven at the free throw line. Pytleksi had 15, all which were from beyond the arc, and junior Hanna Geistfeld (Truman, Minn.) rounded out the leading scorers with 11 points.
The Vikings owned the team advantages in field goal percentage (42.3 vs. 35.1), three-point field goal percentage (42.4 vs. 30.4), rebounds (47-41), offensive rebounds (19-13), assists (21-13), blocks (5-4), and steals (11-4).
