DULUTH, Minn. – Juniors Hanna Geistfeld (Truman, Minn.) and Abby Olson (Montevideo, Minn.) both tallied double doubles in Bethany Lutheran's (13-2 overall, 6-1 UMAC) 76-58 win over St. Scholastica (5-11, 3-5) Saturday night. Geistfeld finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds while Olson tallied 21 points and 10 rebounds.
Freshman Skylar Cotten (Grand Meadow, Minn.) rounded out the leading scorers with her career-high 13 points.
Junior Kenlie Pytleski (East Chain, Minn.) was the third player with double digits rebounds as she also had 10.
The Vikings increased their winning streak to eight and handed the Saints their third-straight loss.
Olson scored the first points of the game 30 seconds in and BLC would continue to lead for the duration.
Bethany owned the team advantages in all three shooting percentages and defensively, held St. Scholastica to 19.0 % from three-point land.
