Women's Basketball Continues Three-Game Road Trip Wednesday

MANKATO, Minn.-- The Bethany Lutheran women's basketball team (18-2 overall, 11-1 UMAC) continues its three-game road trip at Northwestern (14-8, 10-3) Wednesday at 7:15 p.m. The Vikings are in first in the conference standings and the Eagles are in third. BLC enters the week on a school-record 13-game winning streak.

The Series
UNW leads the series at 24-8, which includes the first meeting of the season, 59-52 on Dec. 11. This marks the lone conference loss for the Vikings this season.

Bethany Lutheran
Junior Hanna Geistfeld (Truman, Minn.) leads the team with 21.6 PPG and 9.8 rebounds/game. Classmate Abby Olson (Montevideo, Minn.) follows with 20.0 PPG, and has 64 assists and 37 steals.

Career Record Watch
Olson ranks second in three-point field goals (153), third in assists (241), fourth in points (1,219), tied for fifth in steals (144), and fifth in field goals (393) and free throws (275). Geistfeld is third in field goals (455), fifth in points (1,177), and eighth in rebounds (540). Pytleski is sixth in blocks (58). Senior Emily Skrien (Nicollet, Minn.) is ninth in three-point field goals (76).
