Women's Basketball Opens Two-Game Homestand to End Regular Season

MANKATO, Minn.-- The Bethany Lutheran women's basketball team (19-3 overall, 12-2 UMAC) concludes the regular season with two home games and will first host Crown (4-19, 1-13) Wednesday at 7:15 p.m. The Vikings are tied for first in the conference standings and the Storm are in ninth.

The Series
BLC owns the all-time series lead at 30-1, and have won the last 30-straight. This includes the first meeting of the season, 78-21, on Jan. 22. 

Bethany Lutheran
Junior Hanna Geistfeld (Truman, Minn.) leads the team with 22.4 PPG and 10.0 rebounds/game. Classmate Abby Olson (Montevideo, Minn.) follows with 19.4 PPG, and has 74 assists and 38 steals.

Olson ranks second in three-point field goals (160), second in assists (251), third in points (1,246), fifth in steals (145), field goals (401), and free throws (279). Geistfeld is third in field goals (478), fifth in points (1,238), and seventh in rebounds (566). Pytleski is sixth in blocks (59). Senior Emily Skrien (Nicollet, Minn.) is ninth in three-point field goals (77).
