MANKATO, Minn.-- The Bethany Lutheran men's basketball team (18-6 overall, 13-2 UMAC) concludes the regular season against UW-Superior (16-8, 13-2) Saturday at 3 p.m. The men's basketball class of 2020 will be recognized before the game. The Vikings and the YellowJackets are tied for second in the conference standings. Both teams have clinched bids in the upcoming conference tournament and the programs will turn around and face each other next Wednesday night at 5:30 p.m. The game location will be based on the outcome of Saturday's contest.

The Series
The Vikings lead the all-time series 6-3, but UWS claimed the first meeting of the season, 84-60 on Dec. 14.
Bethany Lutheran
The Vikings have four players in double digits as sophomore Cire Mayfield (St. Louis Park, Minn.) leads the team with 17.8 PPG. Senior Trenton Krueger (Eagan, Minn.) follows at 16.1 and juniors Jared Milinkovich (New Prague, Minn.) and Brian Smith (Brooklyn Park, Minn.) round out the leading scorers with 13.0 and 12.4 PPG, respectively.
Krueger leads the team on the glass with his 8.6 rebounds/game. Mayfield has a team-high 167 assists and Smith has a team-best 44 steals.

Krueger is first in blocks (77) and field goals (449), third in rebounds (574), fifth in games started (76), seventh in points (1,114), and 10th in free throws (185). Jared Milinkovich is third in blocks (56) and tied for sixth in steals (97). Mayfield is fourth in assists (305) and freshman Hunter Nielsen (New Prague, Minn.) is 10th in blocks (28).
