MANKATO, Minn.-- The Bethany Lutheran men's basketball team (19-6 overall) hosts UW-Superior (16-9) in a UMAC Tournament Semifinal Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. The Vikings are the No. 2 seed and the 'Jackets are the No. 3 seed.

The Series
The Vikings lead the all-time series 7-3, as the teams split the regular season meetings, each winning on its own home court.

Bethany Lutheran
The Vikings have four players in double digits as sophomore Cire Mayfield (St. Louis Park, Minn.) leads the team with 17.9 PPG. Senior Trenton Krueger (Eagan, Minn.) follows at 16.3 and juniors Jared Milinkovich (New Prague, Minn.) and Brian Smith (Brooklyn Park, Minn.) round out the leading scorers with 13.2 and 12.6 PPG, respectively.

Krueger leads the team on the glass with his 8.6 rebounds/game. Mayfield has a team-high 173 assists and Smith has a team-best 46 steals.

BLC in Conference Tournament
This marks the fourth-straight year and eighth overall appearance in the UMAC Tournament.

Krueger is first in blocks (79) and field goals (458), third in rebounds (584), fifth in games started (77), sixth in points (1,136), and 10th in free throws (188). Jared Milinkovich is third in blocks (57) and fifth in steals (100). Mayfield is fourth in assists (311) and freshman Hunter Nielsen (New Prague, Minn.) is 10th in blocks (29).

Mayfield is first in assists (173) and tied for seventh in points (448). Nielsen is fourth in blocked shots (29) and Smith is eighth in assists (97).

The Vikings are: fifth in assists/game (19.4) and assists (485), sixth in field goal percentage (50.9) and scoring offense (92.2 PPG), 33rd in scoring margin (11.2), 37th in blocks (109), 38th in blocked shots/game (4.4) and three-point field goals (250), 42nd in three-point field goals/game (10.0), 44th in three-point field goal percentage (37.8), 46th in win loss percentage (76.0), 54th in free throw percentage (74.7), 67th in rebounds (1,015), 68th in rebounds/game (40.60), and 78th in rebound margin (4.3).

Individually, Mayfield is fifth in assists (173) and assists/game (6.9), 61st in field goals (173), and 62nd in assist turnover ratio (2.14).

Smith is 97th in steals (46).

Krueger is first in field goal percentage (71.0), 38th in double doubles (11), 57th in field goals made (174), 76th in rebounds (216), and 90th in rebounds/game (8.6). Jared Milinkovich is 60th in field goal percentage (56.9).

UW-Superior
The Jackets also have four players in double figures. Vid Milenkovic leads the team averaging a double double with 17.8 PPG and 9.5 rebounds/game. Allen Anderson follows at 13.1, Mac Reykdal has 11.6, and Mason Ackley has 10.6.
