Vikings Corral Cougars

MANKATO, Minn. – The Bethany Lutheran men's soccer team (11-5 overall, 11-1 UMAC) defeated Minnesota Morris (5-12-1, 5-6-1) 4-1 Saturday.
 
Sophomore Cameron Brookfield (Cheshire, England) had a career-high two goals as he had the first two tallies on the day.
 
Junior Max Busch (Odenthal, Germany) added to his career-leading penalty kick total with his successful attempt in the second half.
 
The Cougars ended the shutout with their late goal in the 82nd minute, as they took advantage of an open net due to the keeper playing far out of the box.

Bethany concludes its six-game homestand Monday against UW-Eau Claire at 7 p.m.
