ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. – The Bethany Lutheran volleyball team swept Crown Tuesday to remain undefeated (38-0) in the all-time series. The Vikings won 25-10, 25-15, and 25-21.
Two players finished in double digit kills as juniors Alexis Morsching (Morristown, Minn.) and Rilee Hohbein (Holdingford, Minn.) had 12 and 10, respectively.
Freshman Megan Gallagher (Jackson, Minn.) recorded 30 assists as she ran the team's offense.
Classmate Esther Peeters (Maasbree Limburg, The Netherlands) had three service aces.
Freshman Maddi Wendland (Arco, Minn.) had 18 digs.
The Vikings owned the advantages in kills, hitting percentage, assists, service aces, and digs. The Storm held the slight edge in blocks (5-4).
Bethany returns to the court for the final time this season Saturday as it will host #15 Northwestern and St. Norbert in a triangular, with the first match at 12 p.m.
