ROSEVILLE, Minn. – The Bethany Lutheran women's soccer team (12-5-1 overall, 9-3-1) drew a scoreless double overtime tie against Northwestern (10-5-2, 10-1-2) Wednesday night.
This was the second overtime game of the season, and first in conference play for the Vikings.
The Eagles outshot BLC 13-2 in the second half alone, and owned the game advantage in shots at 22-7.
Senior Maddie Perry (Anoka, Minn.) had two shots on goal and classmate Zoe Kinakin (Victoria, British Columbia) made eight saves.
Bethany is now 15-13-26 in overtime games in program history.
The Vikings return to action for the regular season finale Saturday on the road against North Central at 3:30 p.m.
