MANKATO, Minn. – The Bethany Lutheran men's basketball team fell 97-66 in exhibition against NCAA Division II opponent, Minnesota State University Mankato on Friday.
The Mavericks opened the contest on a 12-2 run over the first 5:15 and never looked back. MSU later led 52-23 at halftime.
Junior Hunter Nielsen (New Prague, Minn.) had 14 points and a team-best seven rebounds. Senior Jared Milinkovich (New Prague, Minn.) joined him in double figures with 12 points.
The Vikings owned the team advantage in free throw percentage (78.9 vs. 76.2).
