SAINT BONIFACIUS, Minn. – Freshman Sara Kottke (Buffalo Lake, Minn.) scored 21 points in her collegiate debut as Bethany Lutheran (1-0 overall, 1-0 UMAC) opened the season with a 105-42 win over Crown (0-2, 0-1) Thursday night. She added a team-best six rebounds on the night.
 
This marked the 32^nd win for the Vikings over the Storm in the all-time series.
 
Three teammates joined her in double digits as seniors Hanna Geistfeld (Truman, Minn.) had 20 points, Abby Olson (Montevideo, Minn.) had 13 and Natasha Young (Nicollet, Minn.) scored 10 points.
 
BLC led 23-12 after the first quarter and never looked back.
 
The Vikings owned the team advantages in all three shooting percentage categories, rebounds (42-18), assists (26-9), and steals (12-9).
 
Bethany returns to the road Saturday when it will face UW-Superior at 3 p.m.
