SUPERIOR, Wis. – UW-Superior (3-0 overall, 3-0 UMAC) defeated Bethany Lutheran (1-1, 1-1) 1-0 Saturday.

The game was scoreless through halftime as the YellowJackets owned the advantage in shots (11-1).

UW-Superior scored the game-winner at 79:53.

The Jackets owned the team advantages in shots and corner kicks. The defense did not allow a BLC shot in the second half.

Senior Maddie Perry (Anoka, Minn.) led the Vikings with one shot.

Bethany returns to the field next Saturday as it will travel to face Northland at 1 p.m.
