ST. PAUL, Minn.-- The Bethany Lutheran men's soccer team (5-1 overall, 5-1 UMAC) increased its winning streak to five in the 4-1 victory over Northwestern (6-12, 2-6) Tuesday.
Sophomore Max Busch (Odenthal, Germany) had three goals and one assist on the night. He put the Vikings on the board with his penalty kick.
The Eagles evened the score with their lone goal at 69:56.
Senior Vincent Ayodi (Nairobi, Kenya) connected on a pass from Busch at 71:36 for the go-ahead goal. Busch ended the game with two unanswered goals.
Freshman Roelf Eemsing (Fruneuen, The Netherlands) earned his first collegiate win in net.
Bethany returns to the field Friday when it hosts Crown at 5 p.m.
