Box Score ST. Paul, Minn.  – The Bethany Lutheran (2-4 overall, 2-4) defeated Northwestern (9-6, 5-3) 2-0 Tuesday. This snapped the Eagles' five-game winning streak.

The game was scoreless through halftime.

Senior Maddie Perry (Anoka, Minn.) put the Vikings on the board with her score at 78:32. Junior Sarah Spears (Owatonna, Minn.) doubled the margin with her first goal of the season at 81:23.

Freshman Brooke Wolanin (Littleton, Colo.) earned her first collegiate shutout in net.

Bethany returns to competition Friday when it hosts Crown at 7:30 p.m.
