MANKATO, Minn. – Senior Maddie Perry (Anoka, Minn.) became Bethany Lutheran's career leader in goals scored in the 2-1 win over Martin Luther Saturday in the UMAC Tournament Consolation Championship.
Perry netted her first goal of the day at 17:58 on a pass from freshman Juana Quevedo (Bogotá, Colombia). This remained the score through halftime.
Freshman Brooke Wolanin (Littleton, Colo.) made a big save on a Knight penalty kick attempt just into the start of the second half.
Perry scored the game-winner at 85:55 to etch her name as the career leader in goals. She surpassed the 41 set by Nicole Moldstad from 2014-17.
