MANKATO, Minn.-- The Bethany Lutheran men's basketball team (13-11 overall) hosts UW-Superior (10-15) to open the UMAC Tournament Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

Five players average in double digits as senior Brian Smith (Brooklyn Park, Minn.) leads the team with 17.3 PPG. Junior Hunter Nielsen (New Prague, Minn.) follows at 13.3, senior Cire Mayfield (St. Louis Park, Minn.) is at 12.1, junior Justin Schrupp (Danube, Minn.) averages 11.5 and senior Jared Milinkovich (New Prague, Minn.) is at10.0.

Nielsen leads the team on the glass with 8.0 rebounds/game and a school-record 53 blocks. Smith has a team-high 109 assists and 41 steals.

Career Record Watch
Mayfield is second in assists (401), field goals (465), and points (1,248), fourth in double doubles (7), seventh in free throws (211), and 10th in three-point field goals (107). Nielsen is first in blocks (110) and tied for fourth in double doubles (7). Schrupp is seventh in three-point field goals (130).

Senior Jared Milinkovich (New Prague, Minn.) is first in games played (115), and rebounds (611), second in steals (150), third in blocks (79), tied for fifth in double doubles (6), and fifth in games started (88).
