ARDEN HILLS, Minn.-- The Bethany Lutheran softball team (29-16 overall) fell 8-0 in six innings to Buena Vista (27-14) Saturday to bow out of the NCAA Tournament. The Vikings played their school-record 45^th game of the season.
 
BV got on the scoreboard in the top of the first with an RBI double to centerfield.
 
The Beavers added four in the third, one in the fourth, and used a two-run homer in the sixth to seal the shortened victory.
 
Senior Zoe Kinakin (Victoria, British Columbia) had a single to left in the first for the first hit of the day, and finished 2-3 at the plate. Sophomore Ana Christofferson (Mankato, Minn.) and freshman Kaija Mork (Sioux Falls, SD) were the other two players to get a hit.


 
Bethany set numerous records this season. A full season recap to follow at a later date that will include all of those achievements.
