Sagedahl would hit a jumper to give Bethany a two-point lead with 1:55 left before the Polars answered on the next possession to re-tie the game. Both teams would then come up empty on their final two possessions as we went to overtime.

The Polars would score on their next possession, but Hunter Nielsen would head to the free throw line and split the attempts to tie the game and send it to a second overtime period.
The two teams played even the first few minutes of the second overtime before a Patterson bucket inside gave Bethany a 104-102 lead. Crown would split a pair of free throws at the 1:27 mark to keep the Vikings in front and Ackley would convert a bucket inside with 1:07 left to put the home team up by three.
