MANKATO, Minn. – Head men's basketball coach Pat Garvin announced Thursday morning that Brandon Polesky has been named associate head coach of the program.

"I want to thank coach Garvin and Bethany Lutheran College for this new title," said Polesky. "I am excited to be apart of this program and school, and to continue Bethany's pursuit of excellence both on and off the court."

Polesky enters his fourth year with the Vikings in 2023-24, with the team posting a 43-21 record during his first three seasons. This past year Bethany claimed the UMAC regular season and Tournament Championships and reached the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2019-20, while setting the program record for wins with 23 in the process. He has coached eight UMAC All-Conference players, three All-Defense players, and one Rookie of the Year during his tenure.

"I'm extremely happy and proud for Brandon," said Garvin. "He is one of the most loyal and genuine people I've ever been around. He's been a huge key to the success this program has had in our short time here."
