ST PAUL, Minn. - The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference recently announced two weeks of UMAC Player of the Week winners due to Christmas break and Hunter Nielsen took home both accolades.

He then topped that performance the next week in the Vikings lone game against Wartburg. Nielsen posted the program's first triple double, tallying 19 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 blocks to achieve feat.
Over the two week span Nielsen was 23-of-30 from the field and currently is current 89-of-127 (70.1 percent) on field goals for the season which is good for second best in all of Division III.
