WINTHROP, Minn. - Brooklyn Hart broke the Bethany Lutheran women's cross country program's previous best time in the 6k on Saturday afternoon at the UMAC Championships when she finished with a time of 23:08.4 to eclipse the prior mark by .3 seconds. Her second place finish also helped the Vikings to a fifth place team finish with a score of 120, with UW-Superior winning the meet with a 47 and Crown taking second with a 56.
After Hart it was
Tabitha Larson who was next to cross the finish line with a time of 27:06.2 to take 26th, with
Angela Zaccaria next in 29th with a 27:34.1. Right behind Zaccaria was
Taryn Zellmann who took 30th with a mark of 27:40.6, while
Naomi Anderson rounded out the Bethany times with a 34th place finishing time of 28:11.7.
The Vikings will now be back in action on Friday when they travel to Luther for the Saga Cup.
