ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference announced their Player of the Week honors on Tuesday morning and the Bethany Lutheran baseball team swept the Player of the Week and Pitcher of the Week awards. Aidan Russell earned Player of the Week honors while Drew Hedtke took home Pitcher of the Week.

Russell continues to be productive for the Vikings, batting 7-of-14 on the week with a pair of walks. He had seven RBI and eight runs scored on the weekend, highlighting his efforts with a home run in the series finale against Northland.

Hedtke got the start on the mound in game two of the weekend series and threw a gem. He went the distance, allowing just five hits in nine innings of work while striking out 11.
