Mankato, Minn. — It was a fun night for the Vikings as they cruised to a 103–74 win over Saint Mary's University (MN). Bethany started off red-hot from behind the arc, knocking down their first three three-pointers to open the game. Overall, in the first half the Vikings shot 65%. Their defense was extremely active as well, forcing eight turnovers and converting them into 11 points.
The second half opened with both teams shooting the ball well, and the Vikings kept it going, finishing the night with 103 points. Leading all scorers was #3 Max Briggs, who poured in 23 points. Bethany shot over 57% from the field and nearly 55% from deep.
The Vikings now head back on the road for a tournament this weekend in Stevens Point, Wis.
