ST. PETER, Minn. - The Bethany Lutheran women's tennis team played a pair of matches this weekend, falling to Northwestern (IA) and Gustavus 7-0. With the losses the Vikings fall to 0-5 on the year. 

In the team's opening match against Northwestern, the Vikings would claim No. 2 doubles as Emily Yehle and Brianna Lienig teamed up for a win, but NWU would claim the other two decisions to take the one doubles point. Then in singles play, the Raiders would claim all six singles matches, with Elissa Moonen playing to extra points at No. 3 but not being able to claim the win. 

Then, in the team's match against the Gusties on Saturday, it was Yehle teaming up with Sailor Mohlenbrock at No. 1 doubles and falling 6-3 in the closest match. Mohlenbrock also played solid at singles as well, falling 6-2, 6-4 at No. 1.
