SUPERIOR, Wis. - The Bethany Lutheran men's track and field team competed in the first day of the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Indoor Championships on Friday and currently have eight points and are in seventh place.
They've gotten some solid contributions from freshman, as Will Kaesermann, Matthew Koosman, and Benjamin Halvorson have all contributed to the Bethany Lutheran point total. Kaesermann and Koosman both qualified for the 60m hurdle finals tomorrow with top eight finishes, while Koosman also took eighth in the 400m. Halvorson then claimed eighth place in the long jump while the three previously listed and Tony Lederle claimed a third place team finish in the 4x200m relay.
