MANKATO, Minn. - Bethany volleyball suffered a three-set loss to Augsburg on Wednesday night, dropping to 4-17 overall. Set scores were 25-18, 25-23, and 27-25.
Augsburg won the first three points of the opening set and never trailed. The Vikings fought back in the second frame with an early 6-1 lead with Avery Carlson on the serve. The home held the lead for a majority of the set, but the Auggies slowly climbed their way back and took a 21-20 advantage after a 6-2 run.
