STORM LAKE, Iowa - Playing undefeated Buena Vista (13-0) on the road proved to be a tall task Saturday as Bethany volleyball lost in three sets, dropping to 3-12 overall.
The Vikings were limited to 21 kills in the match, led by five from both Tayler Helgemoe and Brooklyn Erickson. Avery Carlson was the lone Viking with double digit digs at 14.
Bethany briefly held leads early in both the second and third sets, but were turned down at the end. The Beavers won by set scores of 25-10, 25-19, and 25-16.
The Vikings continue non-conference play on the road Tuesday night at Hamline.
