Morgan Philliber Named Bethany Head Women's Soccer Coach

MANKATO, Minn. – Morgan Philliber has been named head women's soccer coach at Bethany, Co-Athletic Directors Ryan Kragh and Pat Garvin announced Monday.

"We are very excited to welcome Morgan to the Bethany family," Garvin said. "I look forward to watching her build on the strong foundation of women's soccer as we continue to climb to new heights. Her energy, enthusiasm, and passion will be a great fit in our department."

Philliber comes to Bethany after serving the 2025 season as an assistant coach for the Hamline University women's soccer program. Prior to Hamline, Philliber spent two seasons as an assistant at the University of Minnesota, Crookston, and was also an assistant for one year at Buena Vista University.

"I am incredibly honored to be selected as the next head women's soccer coach at Bethany," Philliber said. "I am really excited to work with this great team, but also join the Bethany community. Thank you to Pat Garvin and the search committee for this opportunity and their belief in me to lead this program into a strong future."

Philliber earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Superior in 2021 where she was a standout goalkeeper for the Yellowjackets. She helped lead the team to its first ever NCAA Division III tournament appearance as the UMAC Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference.
