Elizabethtown struck first with two runs in the opening inning, but Bethany responded immediately. A passed ball and a wild pitch plated two runs to tie the game, and Carly Nelson's RBI single gave the Vikings the lead. Bethany padded the advantage in the second with a solo home run from Addie Ahern.

Bethany extended its lead in the third inning thanks to a key RBI single from Bryn Weidner and a heads-up steal of home, bringing the score to 6–3. Though Elizabethtown added a run in the fourth, Bethany answered back with a two-run fourth of its own to stay in control.

In the sixth inning, Bethany's offense continued to shine. The Vikings capitalized on a fielding error to add an unearned run, and Orla Keys delivered a clutch two-RBI single as part of a three-run frame that put the game out of reach.

On the mound, Joie Koll (4–0) earned the win with six solid innings, scattering ten hits and keeping Elizabethtown's offense at bay. Bethany's depth in the lineup and timely hitting were the difference in the contest.

From the outset, BLC put pressure on the Simmons defense, but it was the third inning when the offense truly broke through. A two-RBI single from Emily Doyle got the Vikings on the board, and Carly Nelson added an RBI of her own to stake Bethany to a 3–0 lead.

The scoring continued in the fourth as Doyle came through again with a two-RBI single, extending the advantage to 5–0. Bethany then erupted for six runs in the fifth inning. Key contributions came from Emily Meyer with an RBI single, Nelson with an RBI on an error, Olivia Sanborn with a bunt RBI, and a two-RBI double by Nelson that capped the scoring.

On the mound, Emily Meyer (6–2) was dominant, allowing just one hit and retiring the side consistently across her stint. Bethany's defense backed her with error-free support, and the complete team effort showcased the Vikings' balance of pitching and hitting early in the season.

The Vikings get a day off, and will resume play on Wednesday against Neumann University and RPI starting at 10 am.
