MANKATO, Minn. - Bethany tennis hosted Martin Luther for a UMAC match Tuesday afternoon with the men winning 7-0 and the women losing 5-2.
The Viking men, now winners of five of their last six, started the day with a swift sweep in doubles and backed that up with another clean sweep in singles - not dropping more than three points in any set in five of six singles matches.
The women were swept in doubles action and then won two singles matches. Campbell Amundson won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 and Madilyn Omar win 6-2, 6-2 at No. 4.
The Viking men (10-4, 2-0 UMAC) next travel to Northwestern-St. Paul on Friday, while the women (4-13, 1-2 UMAC) next host UW-River Falls on Friday afternoon before traveling to Northwestern.
