Chris Biehn

Chris Biehn will begin his second stint, and third year overall, as an assistant coach for the Bethany baseball team in 2014.

Prior to arriving at Bethany, Biehn was the head baseball coach at Mankato Loyola for 23 years with a career record of 340 wins and 136 losses. He coached the team to a state championship in 1989, and was also named Minnesota Class A Baseball Coach of the Year in the same season. In 1995, his team participated in the state tournament, and then again in 1996 becoming the State Consolation Champions.

In addition to his vast baseball coaching experience, Biehn served as the head coach for girls' basketball for eight years recording 101 wins and 50 losses. He served as an assistant boys' basketball coach for over 10 years, and also as an assistant football coach for 30 years - all this while teaching middle school science at Loyola Catholic School.

Biehn is a member of two halls of fame: Loyola High School Hall of Fame (2009) and Minnesota High School Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame (2011).

Biehn served in the Air Force before graduating with a degree in Biology from Mankato State University.

He currently resides in Mankato with his wife, Ann, of 39 years and the couple has two children.
