Danny Kneeland ('17) enters his seventh total season and sixth consecutive on the coaching staff in 2025-26 and his second year as the team's Associate Head Coach.
Over the past six seasons, the Vikings have posted an overall record of 110-75, while also going 81-19 in conference play. Kneeland has coached 48 All-Conference selections as well as two student-athletes named Player of the Year, two Pitcher of the Year, and four Rookie of the Year award winners. His tenure has been highlighted by UMAC regular season titles in 2023, 2024, and 2025 as well as NCAA Tournament appearances in 2023 and 2025Â
He was a four-year member of the program, and ranks in the top 10 of three career categories: putouts (497), caught stealing by (17) and stolen bases (23).
Kneeland is also in his third summer of coaching the Mankato Mooondogs of the Northwoods League in 2025.Â
