Bethany Lutheran College Athletics

Tatge begins her fifth year at the helm of the Bethany softball program. In 2013, she guided the Vikings through their most successful season in school history by winning 23 games, capturing the UMAC Postseason Tournament crown, and qualifying for the school's first NCAA Tournament in any sport.

In addition to being the Coordinator of Student Activities and Intramurals at Bethany, Tatge has been an assistant volleyball coach for the past two seasons.

Tatge is in-tune with the BLC community as a graduate and former softball student-athlete. She has 16 years of softball playing experience under her belt along with three years of fast pitch umpiring. While competing for the Vikings she pitched 40 complete games in 59 appearances ranking her second in the BLC softball record books. Tatge is also second in career innings pitched with 287.1 and fourth in career strikeouts recording 148. She served as team captain during her senior year for the Vikings and also earned UMAC Academic All-Conference.

In additon to her impressive softball accomplishments at Bethany, Tatge was a member of Student Athletic Advisory Commitee, Science Club, and Scholastic Leadership Society where she was the president during her senior year.
 
The Indiana native graduated from BLC in 2007 and continued her education in Mathematics at Minnesota State, Mankato.
