    Assistant Men's and Women's Soccer Coach
Ben Frayne begins his second season on the Vikings women's staff and first season with the men's team. Coach Frayne brings an impressive coaching resume from the club, high school, and collegiate ranks. He will assist in practice design, all aspects of recruiting, and team management.

Before coming to Bethany, Coach Frayne has coached in local high schools for three years. In 2012, he helped guide the girl's team at Mankato East High School to the #1 seed in the section playoffs as well as being a consistent presence in the state rankings. While at Mankato East, Coach Frayne was also the head coach of the Cougars' junior varisty program. From 2010-11, Frayne was an assistant coach with the Albert Lea High School girl's soccer team and head coach of the junior varsity team. In 2011, Frayne helped the Tigers to a similar #1 seed in the section playoffs.

In 2009, Coach Frayne got a taste of the college game while serving as an assistant with the Grinnell College women's soccer team. He helped the Pioneers to a respectable 7-10-1 record and helped with all areas of program development.

Frayne recently completed his Masters Degree at Minnesota State University, Mankato in Sports Management. He is a graduate of Winona State University with a degree in Recreation and Tourism with a Coaching minor. Originally from Albert Lea, Frayne was a captain of the 2004 Albert Lea High School boy's soccer team. He is currently the U15-16 boys coach for the Mankato United Soccer Club as well.

Coach Lyngholm's comments: "Coach Frayne is a tremendous addition to Bethany Vikings soccer and will be a head coach somewhere soon. Coaching is his passion and he is constantly looking for ways to improve himself as a coach and the teams he works with. He has made a tremendous impact in this program in the last year and we're excited to have him back this fall."
