Brittany Espinoza

Brittany (Zabel) Espinoza '12 returns to the coaching staff as an assistant coach after a several year hiatus.

A three-time Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Academic All-Conference honoree for the Vikings, Espinoza was a versatile defensive player who saw time at numerous positions during her playing career. She has coached for five seasons with the Mankato United Soccer Club, and has earned her NSCAA National Coaching Diploma.

Espinoza graduated from Bethany with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and earned her master's degree in Mathematics from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She is currently a professor of mathematics at Bethany.

"We are really excited to bring Coach Espinoza back onto the coaching staff. Her positivity, Bethany and Mankato background, and coaching experience are exactly what we were looking for, and she is the epitome of a great role model for these young ladies. Alongside coaching, she is also going to be able to advise our ladies on the academic side, and play a big role in the recruitment of new Bethany Vikings" - Coach Morris
