Kelcey Woods-Nord '04 begins her sixth season as an assistant coach for the Vikings in 2021.
A Mankato native and 2004 Bethany graduate, Woods-Nord was a member of the 2002 and 2003 volleyball teams. Her squads saw two trips to the NJCAA Division II National Tournament, finishing in fourth and third (44-3) place, respectively. During BLC’s transition to the UMAC Conference in 2003, Woods-Nord posted a .408 hitting percentage, which ranks fourth place on the UMAC single season record list.
Woods-Nord holds a B.S. in Marketing from St. Cloud State University and a M.A. in Technical Communication from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
She currently works as an Apprenticeship and Internship Coordinator for South Central College where she helps employers develop and students enter work-based learning opportunities that align with their education. She is still very active in the Mankato and Twin Cities adult volleyball communities, co-hosting the largest Minnesota indoor co-ed tournament in Mankato every winter.
Her previous coaching experience includes being an assistant coach at St. Cloud Cathedral in 2005 and 2006, and several years with various youth JO programs since 2001.
